Mushkin Enhanced, which launched its Callisto SSD range early May has unveiled a new Callisto Deluxe series featuring an improved random 4KB write rating of at least 50,000 IOPS, which up until recently has been mainly limited to OCZ’s Vertex 2.
Like the original Callisto range, this series features the SandForce SF-1200 controller, with the same read and write performance ratings of up to 285MB/s and 275MB/s, respectively. Further information can be found in this source Hexus story.
The Deluxe range is available in capacities of 60GB, 120GB and 240GB with retail prices of $218, $370 and $666 respectively through its website, which also includes technical specifications.
