About SSD Freaks
SSD Freaks is a website run as a hobby, aiming to put together the latest interesting news & reviews on Solid State Drives, as well as the occasional article. All stories here are hand-written, with a paragraph or two quoted from the news source in Italics. This website is totally run independently, for example, we have no preference for any specific news or review source.
This website is a totally ad-free blog. If you see any ad-sponsored links, ads or banners anywhere on SSD Freaks, please have your PC checked for adware! We have no plans of adding banners or ads, at least until a time comes where the hosting cost becomes excessive, which is unlikely to happen any time soon. With our no-ad policy, any suspicious links in user comments will be removed. We also do not receive any sponsorship or revenue for anything published here. Note that the SSD Forum links on the left are RSS feeds from a forum run by MyCE, which I help moderate and I’ve no control over their advertising.
The website is currently run by a single editor, Seán Byrne. Should this blog become busier over time, we may invite a few volunteers to help. Even during quiet periods where there is little SSD news going around, this blog aims to remain a dedicated SSD news blog.
You can post comments on stories by registering an account. While an e-mail address is required to set up an account, it will not be shared to any 3rd party or used for any type of marketing or mailing list. To help cut spam, comments with links and certain keywords are subject to approval before they are published.
